The men's European Volleyball Championship starts in Italy tonight. The Red Dragons will play the opening match against home country Italy.

More than 8,000 fans are expected in the beautiful hall in Bologna.

The Belgians are placed in Pool A, where they will take on Italy, Serbia, Estonia, Germany and Switzerland. The top four qualify for the eighth finals. Even after the group stage, Belgium will continue to face Italy in qualifying.
